Do you think golf courses are an appropriate development within critical wildlife corridors?

Who has more right to the area: someone hitting and chasing a little white ball, or a bear that has lived in the area for eons.

Because bears need those corridors to cross roads safely.

Golf courses, though they can be picturesque, are not welcoming areas for animals and indigenous plants which we should try to protect, not eradicate.

There are thousands of alternate sites to put golf courses; it is unconsciable to bottle up animals and block their natural routes when they are struggling to survive as viable populations. There is no need to have golfing everywhere people go; some places can be left to animals and those who want to view them in wilderness setting.

people are in a wilderness situation to enjoy the wildlife, not golf courses

because golfers are typically rich fucks who spend too much money on watering their god for saken grass in the desert. and they don't NEED to build a golf course in an area that is CRITICAL for wildlife devo.

Definitely not! There are too many humans hanging around for it to be suitable habitat. There are too many people driving to said golf courses which decreases habitat effectiveness. While golf courses may provide migration corridors during the winter, they reduce the availability of effective wildlife habitat found in corridors.

Open areas are good for people to wander about. Golf courses are just inviting motorists, and golf really doesn't represent the majority of the population. I think all wildlife enjoy a clearing now and then. Earths' creatures survived for hundreds of millions of yrs. without golf courses. People, in a rush to mimic their southern counterparts, ravage nature to unheard of levels. This is insanity 500X the norm...
