Mountain Nature.com lets you search for recent sightings of plants, animals or birds in the Rockies. Select the species from the list below and click the submit button. If the species you want is not on the list, it simply means that no-one has recorded a sighting of that species yet.
What does it mean if it indicates that the Location Details are Protected?
While MountainNature.com believes that the ability to search for recent sightings is an incredibly valuable tool, we also believe that certain details should be protected. For instance, in the case of large carnivores including wolves, cougars and bears, we have blocked the specific location. We believe that most users of MountainNature.com would prefer that we not make public announcements of their whereabouts
