Description: This tiny relative of the blueberry is found at high elevations. Its leaves are alternate, longer than they are wide, slightly toothed, and ending in a point. The leaves are slightly more than 1 cm in length. The pinkish bell-like flowers hang at the end of short stalks arising from the junction of leaf and stem. They are later replaced by tasty red berries 6 mm in diametre.
