Description: This beautiful alpine flower is rarely seen, but relatively common at high elevations within Banff and Jasper. The sharply toothed, lanceolate leaves occur as a basal rosette. From within this rosette, short stems terminate in a pink or purple four petaled flower. Numerous flowers form a cluster above the rosette of leaves.
