Description: This pleasant subalpine discovery easily lives up to its name. Its beautiful blue, five petaled flowers with yellow eye spot, seem to cry out for discovery. Its a flower that almost everyone knows to look for when they visit its high-country home. The basal leaves have short stems, but become clasping as they grow alternately along the stem. They are long and narrow, with smooth margins and a prominent central vein.
