Description: This is a coarse plant with linear, alternate leaves. The flowers occur in loose clusters near the tip of the plant. The tiny flowers are five petaled, blue with a yellow centre. The flowers are later replaced by hooked seeds which stick to passing fur and clothing, hence the common name.
