 5-15 cm

Description: This unusual plant is restricted to the high alpine. Like all louseworts, it has fern shaped leaves, but in this case the leaves are small, in keeping with its diminutive size. A thick stem rises and almost instantly is terminated with a dense clump of purple, 2-lipped, upward curving, flowers.
