Description: This tiny flower is easily missed as hikers scurry passed it, but once discovered it makes one wonder how they may have missed it for so long. It has a basal clump of small, slightly toothed leaves from which an erect stem rises. The flowers occur singly or in small groups. The pink or purple flowers have five petals, all with a distinctive notch. The yellow centre is surrounded by a white circle.
