Description: This tall, many branched dandelion look-alike can be distinguished by its leaves. The lower leaves are deeply incised with backward pointing lobes. The leaf margin is somewhat prickly. As the opposite leaves move upwards on the stem, they clasp the stem and become less incised. The smooth stem branches to support numerous flower heads. Each flower is 3-5 cm across, and bright yellow.
