Description: This dandelion look-alike is very tall, up to 60 cm. The leaves are not strictly basal, like the dandelion and false dandelion, but alternate, narrow, and clasping. The stem may branch several times, with each subsequent branch terminating in a large dandelion-like flower. The bright yellow flower may be up to 5 cm across. Later, the flower becomes a huge seed blowball, making it a favourite of children that love to blow the seeds.
