Description: This easy to miss subalpine plant grows from a trailing stem. Periodically, from a clump of narrow, linear leaves, a single stem will sprout. The leaves are very tiny, usually shorter than 5 mm, and may be slightly spiny. The star-shaped, 5 petaled flowers have 10 stamens.
