Description: This tall, bushy plant is often found in aspen woods. It has a branched stem with sharply toothed compound leaves. The branches tend to form Y-junctions. Each leaflet is from 2-8 cm long. The white flowers occur in dense terminal clusters. The flowers have four or five petals which rapidly drop off the plant. The flowers are approx. 6-9 mm across. Later, the flowers are replaced by a cluster of bright red, poisonous berries.
