Description: The sweet clovers are a common roadside and field flower. They are tall, with small leaves and flowers. The leaves are distinctly compound. Each leaf has three leaflets. The flowers occur in spikes, at the end of tall stems. They are tiny, and pea-like.

This plant is a favourite of bees, and produces large amounts of nectar.
