Description: This delicate flower is common in our coniferous woods. Look for 3 or 4 leaves growing in a whorl around the base of the stem. The leaves are oval in shape, 1.5-2.5 cm long, with tiny teeth towards the leaf tip. The stem terminates in a single, nodding waxy white flower with a prominent green ovary. The flower can be up to 2 cm across.
