 Subalpine on both sides of Continental Divide
Height:
 Up to 30 cm

Description: This subalpine flower seems to call out for attention. It has a bright red stem which rises tall above a basal clump of green, toothed, paddle-shaped leaves. The stem branches several times with a single star-shaped white flower growing at the end of each branch. The showy flowers have white, showy petals, and a yellow centre.
