Description: Grassi Lakes lie at the end of a short, picturesque hiking trail. These two tiny lakes form one of the most popular hiking destinations in the Canmore area. Their incredible emerald colours reflect the fossil filled ancient coral reef below which they are located. A short scramble up a scree slope reveals ancient pictographs dated at more than 1,000 years old.
