Location: Jasper National Park, Amethyst Lake along Tonquin Valley Trail, AB, Canada, UTM: 11U 412937 E / 5837380 N

Vital Statistics:  Height: 3090 Metres (10,135 Feet) 

Formation Mechanism: Plate Tectonics

Description: The term "The Ramparts" describes the entire range of mountains to the west of Amethyst Lakes. Parapet Peak marks the high point on the south end of the ridge. The long ridge stretches to the north to end at Bastion Peak.
