Nigel Falls

Location: Banff National Park, Icefields Parkway just south of the Big Hill, AB, Canada, UTM: 11U 496543 E / 5780571 N

Vital Statistics: Elevation: 1640 Metres (5,379 Feet)  

Formation Mechanism: Hard Cap Rock

Topographic Map: 83c03 Columbia Icefield

Description: Shortly after passing the Weeping Wall, the highway crosses a bridge over a narrow canyon. Look down and you will see a spectacular falls as Nigel Creek tumbles into the valley below on its way to the North Saskatchewan River at the base of the valley.
