Weeping Wall

Location: Banff National Park, Icefields Parkway north of Saskatchewan River Crossing, AB, Canada, UTM: 11U 499249 E / 5778445 N

Vital Statistics: Elevation: 1800 Metres (5,904 Feet)  

Formation Mechanism: Hard Cap Rock

Topographic Map: 83c03 Columbia Icefield

Description: As meltwater and seepage make their way down the slopes of Cirrus Mountain, they create a magical curtain of water. In the winter, it freezes into a solid wall of ice popular with ice climbers.
