Canyon Creek Ice Caves

Location: Kananaskis Country, Elbow Valley, at the end of Canyon Creek Road, AB, Canada, UTM: 11U 654105 E / 5641840 N

Description: This well known cave located west of Bragg Creek, Alberta, has an icy character. Shortly after passing the main entrance, the cavern is choked with ice. Periodically, passages open up to at least 4 other rooms, but over the last 10 years, the ice has largely kept the inner passages sealed.
