North Saskatchewan Canyon

Location: Banff National Park, Icefields Parkway, at base of Big Hill, AB, Canada, UTM: 11U 495458 E / 5780145 N

Vital Statistics: Elevation: 1600 Metres (5,248 Feet)

Description: Traveling north to Jasper, the North Saskatchewan Canyon is normally missed. Shortly after crossing the bridge over Nigel Creek, the highway passes an old bridge to the left of the highway. This old bridge, part of the original highway, crosses over the canyon.
