Description: Located at the end of a short 0.8 km (0.5 mi) paved path, the Lower Johnston Canyon waterfall is one of the most popular walks in Banff National Park, and for good reason. This amazing waterfall drops into a perfectly round plunge pool carved by the falls itself. A short cave allows hikers to move in so close they will feel the spray of the falls on their face.
