Lake O'Hara

Location: Yoho National Park, South of Trans Canada Highway, BC, Canada, UTM: 11U 546582 E / 5689653 N

Description: A classic glacial tarn, this lake lies in a glacial bowl scooped out by the erosional power of glaciers. It was described by pioneer climber James Outram as “the fairest of mountain lakelet tarns, and attracts huge numbers of hikers and explorers each year.
